West Fife Islamic Education and Welfare Centre, has been serving the community, through local volunteers of diverse backgrounds since 2018. Through a natural and steady progression, we outgrew our previous hired community halls within Dunfermline and secured our own site, on 6 Canmore Street, establishing our mosque, ‘Green Dome Mosque’. This site, a former place of worship, is ideal for us to continue to flourish amongst the city of Dunfermline serving both Muslims and Non-Muslims.
West Fife Islamic Education and Welfare Centre limited is a registered Scottish charity that strives to facilitate and nurture the educational, spiritual, psychological and social development of the community, based upon the example of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
We hold talks from noted speakers, host social gatherings and deliver a range of classes, for both adults and children, with Islamic values at their heart. We hold regular wellbeing clinics and complementary therapies such as hijama, acupuncture, massage therapy, physiotherapy and vitamin therapy for all service users.
