Do I Need a Certificate to Convert?

No, a certificate is not necessary for conversion to Islam. However, obtaining a certificate can add a significant touch to the event and serve as a lasting reminder of the momentous occasion. A certificate acts as formal proof of your conversion to Islam and can prevent potential complications, especially after one’s death. For instance, Muslim countries may require proof of Islam for various legal and religious purposes, such as getting married via Muslim courts or entering holy sites.

At Green Dome Mosque, our certificates cannot be posted abroad nor issued digitally. However, for those who do not convert with us, a Certificate of Faith with the current date can still be issued, but we will require our Imam and management service to witness your Shahadah.

Do I Need a Certificate to Perform Umrah and Hajj?

Can I Get a Certificate if I Have Already Done My Shahadah?
